How to Wear This Autumn's Latest Fashion Trend - Sequins

Sequins are going to be a big fashion trend this Autumn, but there are many ways that you can wear them dependent on how brave or outgoing you are. During the catwalk shows models flowed down the catwalk with short dresses, power shoulders and sequins everywhere. But it's not just dresses that will be adorned with sequins - tops will feature heavily, but expect to see sequins on hats (particularly berets), jackets, shoes and handbags. Lingerie doesn't escape the trend either, with bras and knickers for those special nights out covered in sequins to add a touch of glamour.

But how do you wear them? Well, it depends how brave you are. Outgoing, confident women will be going all out with fully covered short dresses in metallic colours. Choose plain black opaque tights to save you from the cold.

If you do choose sequinned bras, wear a sheer top over to go clubbing. Or how about one of the latest jackets, decorated in sequins to your own desired level. Most shops will give you a choice of jackets festooned or some with perhaps a lapel or side detail. If you are really brave then a pair of glitzy silver leggings will certainly get you noticed.

Those not so confident will be happy with small smatterings of sequins outlining key details. If this is you, think a nice sequinned top and skinny jeans, and for a night out you can add sequinned shoes and/or a sequinned clutch bag. Tops can be found all covered in sequins, or if you'd rather be more subtle then just a simple design on the shoulder will still catch the eye.

No matter what you choose, or however brave you feel, pick up at least one or two items with sequins, enjoy yourself and let some sparkle back into your life.
